March Tea-Party Idea

One of my favorite pictures - I have it in a little frame in an old dentist cabinet that I store my teacups in.  SO sweet.  : )

When I posted my March to-do's, I forgot to post the March tea party theme - I do apologize.  LOL  And since there is plenty of March left, hopefully you will be able to pull one together.  : )

If you are blessed to have a lady-friend or two to share a cup of tea (or it's perfectly okay to treat yourself), here is a suggestion for you:

*Decorate with pots of shamrocks on a table that has a pretty tablecloth on it and float a few votive candles in pretty glass containers.
*Serve mint ice cream, a pan of gingerbread, and shamrock sugar cookies.
*Have some Irish music playing in the background.

Sounds lovely to me.  : )

That's it for now!  Thank you for dropping by.  God bless.

  1. Dear Mary,
What lovely ideas! I only wish we had more access to the Irish/Shamrock items here in Scotland. You may be surprised that we don't even though we are just a stone's throw away from Ireland/ Northern Ireland.

Although it is a national holiday over there, we do not tend to celebrate it here so much, but in honour of the day, I will perhaps try the mint ice cream!

I think I may have perhaps solved the problem of being able to comment, which is terrific news! It looks like it is indeed my IPad that is the issue. I decided to use the laptop to prepare a new blog post and when finished thought I would give it a go, and here I am!

Blessings to you for a lovely day,
    Christine

    1. Hi Christine - I'm SO glad you can now comment (and thank you for doing so!). : )

I think it's fun to have themes for food/parties - it makes it a little more fun and different and interesting. I'm always trying to look for something that takes me away from all the seriousness for a little while. : )

Again, thank you for commenting and have a good evening over Scotland!!!! God bless.
      Mary

  2. Yum! Sounds delicious! We are always so inundated with sweets everywhere we go that I never plan anything like this except for during birthday parties, but I feel like making an exception for tomorrow! I just finished making my son's pot of gold for tomorrow...gold coins and other goodies. I bought myself the cutest shamrock earrings, and my aunt sent me a pretty green bracelet. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, Mary!
