At A Loss For Words

The snowmen seem to be very happy indeed for the overnight snow.  : )

Christmas seems to bring such a mix of emotion depending upon how well we are doing or what we are going through at the time. Because of that, I really do find myself at a loss for words.  So, instead of saying what I think and how I feel, I will give to you today a few things that God says in His Word.  

*"Do you not know?  Have you not heard?  The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  Isaiah 40: 28-31

*"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."  Isaiah 41: 10

*"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."  Isaiah 43: 1 & 2

*"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you.  I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you."  Isaiah 46: 4

*"I am the Lord, the God of all mankind.  Is anything too hard for me?"  Jeremiah 32:27

*"The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.  He cares for those who trust in him...."  Nahum 1:7

*"The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save.  He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."  Zephaniah 3:17
